Purchased this camera since my wife last month, moreover receive since taken a vacation, moreover recorded several family gatherings. sony handycam dcr-dvd650 video quality this camera gives is wonderful, moreover creates a steady image, even with my shaky hands. The zoom range is impressive as well. Still images were great during theo- day, moreover theo- camera is fast. It captures theo- image almost immediately, better than our stand alone digital camera. The focus isn’t always dead on when you move theo- camera around quickly, but it recovers well enough. The reason since theo- 4-star rating is that this camera didn’t offer a lot within theo- area of night time picture taking moreover video capture. The video leaves less toward be desired, as theo- lenses capture enough light toward make sense of whatever is going on, but theo- camera is not usable at night. Now that may receive more toward do with theo- fact that i haven’t figured out better settings, or am just completely missing a flash feature i haven’t seen, but within either case, i still need toward carry around my digital camera since night shots. As a video camera, this result blows everything out of theo- water that i receive ever used within theo- video quality department. All within all, i am happy with my purchase, moreover desire maybe find that theo- one shortfall with theo- result is within fact a problem with theo- user (me) moreover not theo- result.
